Good news! In recent weeks TJ has been fitted for splints to help her legs grow normally. She’s getting used to them little by little. The physiotherapy is ongoing but she is doing amazingly. She can do things she really should not be able to do like roll on the floor. We have great hope that she will walk if we can get her the right treatment in Hungary.
In other news we have a date for TJ’s surgery to straighten her legs and feet in six months’ time. She will also have reconstructive surgery on her skull. The plan then is to get to the Peto Institute in Budapest where she can begin her life changing treatment to enable TJ to walk.
